Manifest is a passenger manifest app. It lets travellers record a journey together with their next-of-kin details, and lets transport companies and hotels keep an accurate list of the people travelling or staying with them.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and how you can have it deleted. Manifest is operated by Joemegz Technologies.
We only collect information you enter into the app yourself:
If you register as a service provider, we also collect your business name, business phone number and business address.
We do not collect your location in the background, your contacts, or your browsing activity, and Manifest contains no advertising.
Your manifest is shared only with:
We use Paystack to process service-provider subscription payments. Card details are entered directly with Paystack and are never seen or stored by Manifest.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary to respond to an emergency involving a risk to someone's life or safety.
Your data is stored on our servers and transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Your PIN is stored as a one-way hash, so it cannot be read or recovered by us or by anyone with access to the database. Access to the database is restricted to authorised administrators.
No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
We keep your account and manifest records for as long as your account exists, so that your journey history remains available to you. If you delete your account, the data is removed as described below.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app:
Open Settings → Delete account and confirm.
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your manifests, your next-of-kin details, any photos you uploaded, and any service you registered. This action cannot be undone.
If you would prefer us to delete your account for you, or you can no longer sign in, see manifest.ng/delete-account for how to request deletion by email. We action requests within 7 days and confirm once it is done.
Manifest is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
You can view and correct most of your information directly in the app under Settings. You may also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@manifest.ng.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and where the change is significant we will make it clear in the app.
